  • It’s a lovely little museum. It literally brings you back in time. First I thought it’s a bit overpriced but as soon as I went in I changed my mind. It is wonderful.

It was truly an immersive and a wonderful experience. Plan ahead and spend an entire day wandering the walls of the rich Southampton history which includes – The titanic experience, History of early settlers in Southampton and Southampton’s contribution to some of the greatest historical events. You will definitely not regret this experience. There are also fun games you can indulge in and even get your fortune read by a gypsy! It’s super fun!!

  • Thoroughly enjoyed The Titanic experience but felt there were parts of the story missing and the sinking happened quite suddenly. That said, the various interactive experiences were good fun.

  • Very informative and interesting although not many exhibits, focuses on the lives of the people who worked on the Titanic rather than the ship itself. we spent 3 hours looking around.
There is also a good very reasonably priced cafe on site which does Gluten free bread.

The tudor house is a 15th century style house that rose to its prominence because of the great hall it has together with the walls. It has had quite a few restorations in the past with a lot still going on especially because of its 15 tonn roof made out of heavy logs of wood hence the tilt that can be seen from outside. Its a good tourist spot to visit at Southhampton.

Southampton has been essential due to the strategic positions of their harbour. Titanic is an integral part of Southampton history. I think this museum is interesting and tells the story of White Star, the company that owned and got the Titanic built, and about important figures on the boat and the less important. The Museum is very small, though.

  • An interesting Tudor house, full of displays throughout the time period. Nice garden and cafe area. There is a short theatrical introduction to the house, that was very well done. Would imagine it would go down well, for all ages. Surprisingly good disabled access. Was incorporated into a major refurbishment, completed around ten years. Quite an interesting video details this.

  • Interesting to get a perspective on the history. Heard it used to be better with more authentic furnishings throughout the facility. For the price is a good deal and entertaining.
