Hampshire Hospitality Awards

Hampshire Hospitality AwardsWith a plethora of Hampshire restaurants, pubs and cafés to choose from, we’ve made your decision a little easier by supporting the Hampshire Hospitality Award scheme, now in its fourth year.

Aimed at celebrating the best of Hampshire’s eating experiences in Winchester, East Hampshire, Test Valley and Portsmouth, the Hampshire Hospitality Awards reward those eateries who take their business seriously, from their customer service and welcome to their commitment to good cooking and cleanliness.

The Local Produce Award demonstrates the business’s commitment to using and promoting ingredients produced in Hampshire or within 10 miles of the county boundary.  The Superior Quality Assured Award also rewards those who go the extra mile in terms of quality and service.

The 2012 awards were judged by Peter Birnie, who has over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry, including six years as Chief Inspector for the AA Restaurant and Hotel Guides.

All businesses gaining an award have confirmed they have registered with their local council’s environmental health department and achieved at least ‘satisfactory’ in their national food hygiene inspection.

Here is a list of the 2012 award-winners. Click on the map tab to see at a glance where they are located.
