At God's House Tower you can see one of the top ten Archaeological Collections in Britain. The museum displays objects excavated from Roman, Saxon and Medieval Southampton.
Access Information:
No access to exhibition areas for wheelchair users, as they are situated up 3 flights of stairs.

On Monday,Tuesday and Wednesdays educational visits can be booked.

From M3 southbound, exit at J13 signed M27 westbound. Once on M27 exit at J3, the M271. Stay in the left hand lane and filter onto M271. Approach the roundabout in the left hand lane and follow signs for West Quay/Waterfront. As you approach the City Centre you will branch off to the right. Go straight on at the t/light junction with Novotel to the left and straight on at the roundabout. Go straight on t/lights and the Museum is on the left.
From Southampton TIC: Move into the left hand lane of Civic Centre Road and turn left at t/lights. Follow Portland Terrace straight ahead until it becomes Castle Way and continue until the traffic lights at the cross roads. Turn right into the High Street and then left into the Gloucester Square car park. Walking from there, continue down the High Street turning left into Winkle Street and the museum is at the end.
