The cycle hire centre offers Muttmobiles/Dog Cabs for dogs to accompany their owners while they cycle in the forest.

Walking

When walking with your dog in The New Forest, please follow the Forest Code outlined below.

  • Please respect other forest users
  • If you cannot control your dog you must keep it on the lead. Dogs must not chase or worry livestock, deer or birds
  • In car parks where bins are provided, please pick up after your dog
  • Please comply with all Forestry Commission signs
