Hampshire Farmers' Markets

Cider stallOur Farmers' Markets are a great way to meet the very people who grow, rear or produce the food that you buy. With growing interest in the provenance of our food, the markets are a way of finding out about animal welfare, use of pesticides, and how the food has been produced.

Free range or organic meat is readily available at these markets, together with national award-winning cheeses, eggs, bread and cakes, vegetables and fruit, drinks, fish and more. Some markets include cookery demonstrations from local chefs using ingredients you can buy there and then.

Hampshire farmers' markets are held every weekend at different market towns across the county. These include Petersfield, Romsey, Andover, Southsea, Southampton, Alton, Basingstoke, Hythe, New Milton, Cosham, Hartley Wintney, Farnborough and Winchester, the largest farmers' market in the UK.
