The Greyfriar is a four hundred year old Coaching Inn with plenty of original low beam character and charm. Its naturally warm and welcoming construction invites a relaxed experience of old English Country values of quality, seasonal and local produce delivered with expertise yet without pomposity or starched ceremony. The skilfully crafted menu prepared with care and forethought will delight the most seasoned diner from starter to dessert. To accompany the food, you can choose from Fullers prize ales or the rather good wine list. Three times winners of the “Fullers Village Pub Of The Year” competition.
On the junction of the A32 and A31 South of Alton follow the Brown signs for Jane Austen Museum, The Greyfriar will be found opposite.
