Nearest major road is M3. Take A34 towards Newbury. Immediately get into right-hand lane A33 Basingstoke to London. At crossroads turn right onto B3047, Itchen Abbas and Easton. After 3 miles turn right to Avington opposite the Trout public house.

Nearest station is Winchester. Bus 64 to Alresford/Guildford. Alight at Trout pub and walk to Avington. Turn right into drive after humped-back bridge.
