Andover Museum tells the story of the town and its surrounding area from Natural History to Prehistory to the late 20th century. It has a regularly changing programme of temporary exhibitions and runs family activities in the school holidays.
Then step inside the Museum of the Iron Age which tells the story of Danebury Hill fort. Discover what life was like for our pre-historic ancestors who farmed, fought, worshipped and died in Wessex over two thousand years ago.
The museum has a shop selling small gifts and books, many with a local theme, there is also a refreshments area. Pre-booked groups are very welcome and there is a vibrant programme for schools run by our education team. Free admission to all.
Free admission to all.
