Wellington Country Park, ‘The Biggest Outdoor play in Berkshire’, was established in 1974 by the Eighth Duke and Duchess of Wellington.

Set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands off the A33 between Basingstoke and Reading, Wellington Country Park offers a safe, open air, fun filled venue for all the family and has now opened for the 2013 season!

To enjoy, we have several adventure play areas, a toddler’s area, sand pits, slides, miniature railway (£1.50 extra), animal farm and petting barn (seasonal), nature trail maze, enchanted forest, water play, 9 holes of crazy golf and loads of play equipment to climb on and in; all to keep the kid’s busy.

Within woodlands, there are four nature trails to follow taking in sights of our vast array of wildlife in their natural habitat. One trail allows you to get up close and personal to our resident herd of Red and Fallow deer. Surrounding our beautiful 35 acre lake is the perfect location for a family gathering, picnic or BBQ. On the other hand, if you want to relax and enjoy your day, then eat in our cafe and browse round our shop. On offer we have a full selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, gifts and toys.

During the season, we have over 50 special in-house events and fun days with exciting demonstrations and games for all the family to enjoy! Held in the Park, most are ‘FREE’ to join in as part and parcel of your entrance price. See our website for dates and full details!!

Even your dog is welcome but we do ask that you keep them on a lead, under control at all times and we ask as their owner that you clear up after them!
