What's On

Hampshire has many festivals and special events. Tall ships, pirate shows, live music and spectacular boats make the annual Southampton Boat Show a day out to remember. Don't miss the acclaimed Farnborough Airshow which takes place every two years. And not forgetting all the exciting local food events happening throughout the year to tickle your taste buds.

For those with a nautical interest, Cowes Week, the world's largest regatta, has been a regular fixture in the Solent every August since 1826 and is a truly magnificent spectacle.

Top flight football is played in the county at Portsmouth Football Club and Southampton Football Club and Hampshire Cricket bat at the stunning Rose Bowl, which also plays host to international rock and pop acts.

Motorsport fans can also enjoy a full programme of national car and bike racing at Thruxton, the UK's fastest circuit, near Andover, whilst the world renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival meetings are held annually in nearby Chichester.
