The George and Dragon in Hurstbourne Tarrant near Andowver has eight double rooms available, each beautifully decorated and with ensuite bathrooms.
When the pub was bought, the upstairs was an empty shell. It now has eight lovely bedrooms in a range of different sizes. The pubs range of rates all include a delicious breakfast and children and dogs are very welcome.
All the rooms are tastefully decorated and have Hypnos beds ensuring a relaxing nights sleep. The rooms vary in size from the standard double right through to a family room with its super size bed and sofa bed and our rates reflect this.
As well as accomodation the George and Dragon offers a bar with locally sourced ales from as close as possible with most of their drink selection from British. The finest single malt whisky in Scotland to a favourite gin ‘Twisted Nose’ from Winchester.
The kitchen offers a delicious, seasonal menu with all the food prepared fresh every day using the highest quality, local produce. The kitchen team make everything from scratch. The George and Dragon's main menu is based around seasonal dishes and specials change regularly depending on what the kitchen can get hold of from their suppliers.
