The Retreat is a Grade II listed Victorian building in the heart of Southsea's conservation area. This boutique style guest house has been extensively modernised to provide every comfort whilst retaining its original character. Each spacious room is individually designed with LCD Tv's, WI-FI access, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and superb shower and bathrooms. The four poster 'Franklin' room has a whirlpool bath as has 'The Ward'. Freshly prepared breakfasts include a fruit plate, pastries, yoghurts, full English, cafetiere coffee, breakfast and herbal teas. Local organic and free range produce are used wherever possible. Situated in the historic city of Portsmouth we are within walking distance of the seafront, Gunwharf Quay, the University and Kings Theatre. Southsea's many fine restaurants and bars are even closer.
