The Star at East Tytherley is a 17th century traditional country inn with rooms, in the peaceful Test Valley. Ideal as a touring base with self contained accommodation in the cottage in the grounds and set next to the village cricket ground.
As a free house there is a selection of cask conditioned Hampshire ales as well as quality continental lagers, ciders, bottled beers and fine wines. The food served here is a million miles away from average pub food but is still priced affordably. Using seasonal local produce, the menus offer something for everyone from light lunches to evening suppers and A La Carte restaurant choices.
This family run inn has a well deserved reputation for combining great food with attentive service in relaxed, comfortable surroundings.
