The Woodlands Lodge Hotel is set within three acres of colourful, mature gardens in a stunning part of the New Forest. With Southampton close by, this privately owned hotel is an ideal location for holidays, wedding ceremonies and conferences.
The original house was built in 1580; however the original house underwent extensive rebuilding in 1770. It is reputed to have been owned by the Duchy of Westminster and used as a Royal hunting Lodge. In keeping with its heritage, the Woodlands Lodge Hotel has been sympathetically converted into a comfortable and modern hotel whilst still retaining the atmosphere and charms of an English Country Hotel. We have taken considerable care in retaining the character of the original country house. Each room has been individually styled to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay with modern facilities.
Our elegant Bentleys Restaurant coupled with the modern light and airy Garden room that overlooks the gardens, offer the very best cuisine served by a friendly and efficient team. Where possible we only use fresh, local produce cooked to the highest standard. Our menu reflects the season and our extensive wine list will compliment your meal.
For those who want to go exploring we have direct access to forest walks. Popular activities such as golf, horse riding and fishing are also located nearby. For guests wishing to bring their cats or dogs, we operate a pets welcome policy in three of our bedrooms.
All rooms have en-suite facilities with separate showers and baths, king size beds. As is expected, in each room there is a colour television, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The Woodlands Lodge Hotel also offers Free wifi in all rooms and public areas, flat screen televisions with freeview access and i-pod docking stations for all your music needs.
