80 Rushes Road is a comfortable house, with a sunny garden where visitors can have breakfast or a cup of afternoon tea. The house is two minutes' walk from Petersfield Railway Station (1 hour to London, Waterloo and 30 minutes to Portsmouth). The centre of the town (ten minutes' walk) offers a wide selection of excellent pubs and restaurants.
It is ideal for guests, whether staying on business or on a leisure break. We offer broadband internet access and the house is within easy walking distance of the Petersfield Business Park.
The guest room is a quiet bedroom (either a twin or a double bed) with private bathroom, television, radio and tea & coffee-making facilities.
Petersfield is well placed as a sightseeing base. For walkers and cyclists, we are on the Shipwrights Way and the South Downs Way is nearby, as well as lots of shorter walks to include a pub lunch. We offer good facilities for walkers and cyclists. Petersfield is part of the South Downs National Park.
Diana Collins welcomes both cyclists and walkers. The house is very near the Shipwrights Way. A lock up is available for bicycles and convenient buses take walkers to the various walking routes. The house has free wi-fi and a selection of maps and guide books. Various excellent restaurants and pubs are within walking distance.
Diana is an experienced teacher of English as a foreign language and enjoys welcoming visitors from other countries. She also takes the occasional visitor for intensive English courses and this package includes sightseeing outings.
