About
Brick Kiln Dairy is a rustic and captivating property set amidst an organic farm surrounded by ‘old fashioned’ English countryside. This would make an ideal retreat for couples, friends and families to gather. The large sitting room, which includes a log stove and wall mounted smart TV, overlooks the orchard towards the endless and utterly unspoilt countryside of the valley below.
Completely private space available (about 2 acres) in the farm orchard - complete with fire bowl and loungers for total relaxation. It has spectacular views over unspoilt farmland into the valley below with lots of space for children to play. Just by the house is a small, private area laid to lawn with table, chairs and gas fired BBQ, which gives beautiful views over the paddocks.
Situated on the outskirts of the pretty Hampshire village of West Meon - voted Village of the Year by The Times - the Old Dairy is less than a mile from its award-winning pub, The Thomas Lord (famously named after the Lords Cricket ground founder), a perfect starting point for discovering the pretty village and its surroundings. With beautiful ancient trees and wildlife, take some time to meander in the footsteps of Jane Austen and feel inspired by the local countryside, which has remained unchanged for centuries.
West Meon has a thriving village shop, selling local produce and a top quality butcher. Queen Elizabeth Country Park, with all its outdoor facilities is a short drive away. For a day trip, head to the Cathedral City of Winchester and explore its wide variety of boutique shops, cafes and of course the Cathedral itself. If it is seaside you need, make your way south to Chichester and the beautiful beaches of the Witterings beyond.
