TORCHLIT PROCESSION

The torchlight procession is an annual tradition in Winchester and it’s free to join.
Buy a wax torch and walk the route before the lighting of the bonfire and the firework display.

The procession will begin from Guildhall on The Broadway, up the High Street and across Jewry Street before heading to the firework and bonfire display.

You’ll also find Winchester Round Table vendors along the route with official Bonfire merchandise; your purchases go towards donating to local charities.

TRAVEL ADVICE

Use public transport where possible. Winchester train station is a 15-minute walk to the display site. Park & Ride services will end before the display starts.
Arrive early to beat the crowds and enjoy the food festival from 3pm. Ticket collection opens from 10am.
If you are driving, head for car parks away from city centre.
Only park where permitted on roads outside of city centre.

Roads will be temporarily closed around Winchester city centre and we expect heavy traffic on the night. Parking adjacent to North Walls Recreation Ground will not be available.

Use local Stagecoach bus routes to get to the display.
