Walk with Alpacas

Take a walk with your own beautiful alpaca, courtesy of Twinnies Petting Farm. Alpaca walking is a fun activity that is a great way to get out and enjoy nature while spending quality time with these friendly animals. Walking one is a great way to bond with them and learn about their behaviour and personalities. They are gentle, friendly animals that are easy to handle and enjoy being around people.

Tickets are £7 a session for a 15 minute walk, plus gardens admission or Friends of Exbury membership.

What a lovely few months we had regularly visiting, occasionally with our two young grandsons who enjoy the sheer expanse and the flexibility of paths to explore, and for us, to sit on the plethora of seating areas sensitively positioned, to just soak up the glorious surroundings.

Thank you for such a lovely time, we look forward eagerly to joining again from Mid March. We will be there, first through the door on some of our visits and sometimes we come and walk the routes provided down by the river or sometimes sit and read our books on one of those seats provided in a particularly leafy, tranquil spot.

We became members of Exbury for the first time last year and loved seeing the change of seasons. What a joy to find Davdii in bloom and discover the huge waxy cups of Liriodendron. To see the development of the whole around the sundial garden was magical and we found we could identify all we wanted to from the clear, informative board.
