AboutThe Green Man is so much more than a pub. It is a very welcoming establishment, a stylish hang-out and a great meeting place for friends, family or an intimate tête-à-tête. Come and join us in our eclectic retro furnished bar, with a great choice of beers and an impressive and very well researched wine list (hic!).
Indulge in the seasonal bar menu, perhaps the trusty staple The Green Man Burger, or a local sausage with mash or one of our BYO (build not bring!) tasty platters which are just great for tucking into before heading across the road to see a film.
Or maybe join us upstairs in our gorgeous Edwardian-style dining room serving the best of seasonal modern British cuisine. We change our menu constantly to accommodate market availability. It’s a beautiful cosy, stylish venue.
If lunch is more your thing, how about “The Sunday Table”? Enjoy a family lunch around our long table (seats 30), sans the family! It’s a slant on the French vibe which welcomes all including singletons, couples, friends, whoever, whatever! Great fun and always a surprise! We’ve had celebs and even ourselves sat there on an occasional Sunday off!
However industrial chic may be more your style so check out our new addition The Outhouse, aka the Old Skittle alley. The perfect contemporary space for a party or event. Seats 30 or you could have a “do” for up to 45 people
