Looking for Easter events in Hampshire? Or perhaps you are looking for something a little different for Easter this year? With numerous Easter egg hunts, accompanied by Easter lunches and other eccentric activities, the Easter holidays are bound to be eventful for you and the family this year in Hampshire. 

With Easter rapidly 'hopping' our way, it’s time to map out some plans for a fun filled holidays. Whether you’re after a fun family affair, or some low key easterly activities we definitely have you covered in Hampshire.

If it’s an Easter filled with splendour and egg-stravagance you’re after, why not spend your day at one of our several reputed National trust properties which will be hosting a Cadbury’s Easter Egg Trial; fun for both the parents and the children. Should you wish for a more quirky Easter activity why not try the Easter Eggstravaganza at Finkley Down Farm, as well as an Easter egg hunt children will be able to enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo of Lambs, piglets and calves.

If you’re after an exotic Easter why not try the Wild Egg Trail at Marwell Zoo, participation will mean an encounter with the Easter bunny in his burrow and an amazing chance to win an annual membership for two kids and two adults.

Although Marwell offers a wild take on Easter, you could always undertake something completely different, in this instance a spot of waterborne egg hunting. New Forest Activities will be the host of this unusual yet popular canoeing egg hunt – although peculiar this scenic egg hunt on Beaulieu River won’t be one to forget.

Should Easter egg trials pose no interest to you, why not immerse yourself in the arts – Portsmouth Guildhall will be holding an annual Easter Pantomime, the production this year being the Wizard of Oz starring the much beloved Pudsey the dog as Toto. Other events will include Four Seasons Art Exhibition at Exbury Gardens, Nature Detectives at Beaulieu Motor Museum and Sparsholt College’s Easter Weekend

With all these activities and more, you’re bound to work up an appetite - So plan ahead and choose from our endless list of traditional pubs and restaurants within the vicinity of whichever activity you choose to partake in.
