Looking for a Christmas day out to remember? Wondering where the best place to see Santa is? Take your little ones on a magical day out to see Father Christmas in Hampshire.
This year Father Christmas will be taking time out of his busy schedule and popping up across Hampshire in several top attractions to spread the festive cheer. You'll find Santa, his elves and even Mother Christmas on a steam train, canoeing down the Beaulieu River and even in a science centre!

Paultons Park and Peppa Pig Wold, Near Romsey

23rd November – 23rd December 2019 (various dates)
Enter a Christmas wonderland and be greeted by adorable animated characters as you make your way through the enchanted winter snow scene. See Rudolph and Donner and the Christmas Elves in Santa Claus’ Toy Factory. At the end of the journey children can meet Father Christmas and receive an exciting present. Peppa Pig World will also be transforming this Christmas season as Peppa Pig and George wrap up in their winter scarves, hats and coats. Tickets should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.


Marwell Zoo, near Winchester

16th November - 24th December 2019
Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Marwell Zoo's Christmas event. Join Jingle the elf and some of his new friends in ‘Wonderland’ as you step into a curious world of topsy-turvy delights. Begin with refreshments fit for the queen of Hearts. Join the tea party with Mother Christmas and then meet the elves who will help you make a ‘magical’ elf door. After all this Christmas fun it will be time to meet Father Christmas. Each child will receive a special gift. Tickets should be booked in advance.


Winchester Science Centre, near Winchester

7th – 24th December 2019 (various dates and times)
Santa and the elves are back at Winchester Science Centre for a Christmas experience like no other and to spark curiosity in your little ones. Join in on a fun science-themed activity led by the elf team before visiting Father Christmas in his grotto, where each child will receive a wrapped gift to take home. Tickets can be booked in advance online.


Emirates Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth

30th November – 24th December 2019
This Christmas Santa Claus will be setting up his toy workshop at the Emirates Spinnaker Tour. Join the elves as they make the finishing touches to their batch of cuddly reindeers. Each child will be able to name, stuff and place a magical Christmas charm inside their reindeer. Once the reindeer is complete head into Father Christmas’ grotto and meet the man himself. Tickets can be booked in advance online.


Watercress Line, Alresford

20th November – 24th December 2019 (various times)
See Santa on a magical steam train ride along the scenic Watercress Line. As you travel in a festive traditional train carriage Santa and his jolly helpers will visit you in your seat with a special gift! Festive refreshments for adults and children will also be provided. Tickets can be booked in advance online.


Finkley Down Farm, Andover

30th November – 24th December 2019 (various dates)
Head to Finkley Down Farm for a magical Christmas day out. Visit Father Christmas, help Mother Christmas decorate biscuits, help the elves make reindeer food and look out for the missing reindeer. All children who visit Santa will receive a festive gift and a yummy hot chocolate. Tickets can be booked in advance.


New Forest Activities, New Forest National Park

14th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd December 2019
This is a Santa visit with a difference. Take the water in a canoe with New Forest Activities for a festive paddle up the River Beaulieu. Explore the stunning river and keep an eye out for Father Christmas along the way. All Children will receive a gift from Father Christmas on the water. There’ll be hot chocolate to keep you warm! Places must be booked in advance.


The Hawk Conservancy Trust, near Andover

23th December 2019
This year Father Christmas and his magical team of owls will be stopping at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. Find out what Evergreen the elf is up to and watch magical owls fly. Children will also get the chance to meet Mother Christmas, who will be sharing some freshly baked treats and have ago and some crafty creations. Tickets must be booked in advance.


Tudor House Museum and Gardens, Southampton

7th and 8th December 2019
Meet Father Christmas in the beautiful historic setting of the Southampton Tudor House and Gardens. Each child will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and a special gift to take home. Santa visits must be booked in advance.


The Great Hall, Winchester

21th – 23rd December 2019
Adventure into the historic Great Hall and visit Father Christmas. There will be festive crafts and a pop-up café serving hot and cold drinks plus some festive treats. Each little one who visits Santa will receive a special gift. Tickets should be booked in advance.
