Old Thorns Manor Hotel is secluded in 400 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside and is one of Southern England's most picturesque country house hotels. Originally a 17th century farmhouse. the hotel has retained much of its original charm.
The Peter Alliss designed championship golf course offers a challenge to all golfers with rolling hills, demanding water features and spectacular views. The Leisure Club features an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, treatment rooms and outdoor tennis courts.
All rooms are en-suite. The superior rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with pressure shower and bathrobes, seven-foot king-size zip-and-link bed (for twin or double occupancy), extra large desk, double phone socket for quick internet access, hairdryers, iron and ironing board, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. All rooms also have an in-room safe especially designed to accommodate a lap-top computer and installed with a recharge socket for computer or mobile phone. The suites offer all of the above plus a Queen size sofa-bed ideal for guests visiting with children, a whirlpool bath and a superior marble finish in the bathroom and an entertainment unit comprising a 32" wide-screen Nicam TV with DVD and CD facilities.

Leave the M25 at junction 10, taking the A3 London to Portsmouth route. Old Thorns is sign-posted from the A3 by brown tourist signs. Take the Griggs Green exit and turn right at the T-junction at the top of the slip road. The entrance to Old Thorns is approximately 300 metres on the right.
Approaching from Portsmouth, take the Griggs Green exit and follow the road round until you come to the entrance as described above.
