Golfers will find over 80 high quality private and public golf courses in Hampshire. From championship standard to excellent municipal courses and popular play-and-play courses, Hampshire's greens provide a challenging day's golfing or a longer golfing holiday for players of all abilities.
The north of the county offers some inland gems on a rich seam of heather, gorse and silver birch country with North Hants at Fleet, Blackmoor and Liphook a couple of the more notable to play.
The rolling Hampshire Downs around Winchester provide superb greens. Hockley and Royal Winchester typify the excellent downland courses of mid-Hampshire.
The courses along the shore of the Solent provide some bracing playing with excellent views across the Isle of Wight. Cams Hall at Fareham, Barton-on-Sea and of course Hayling Island are all superb coastal courses.
