Do not be put off if you think you do not have nice handwriting or that you cannot draw as that really doesn't matter. We will teach you the tricks to turn your hand to modern calligraphy whatever your skillset.

Our 2.5-hour dip pen workshop is specifically designed for beginners. We'll build your confidence by gradually adding to your understanding of the techniques which make modern calligraphy so beautiful. By the end of the class, you'll have progressed from making basic strokes to being able to connect letter forms to create your own words and phrases. With demonstrations and instructions, your tutor will be there to provide one-on-one tuition.

You will use metallics and also try some colour blending. Calligraphy is perfect for crafting bespoke greeting cards, elegant invitations, or stunning artwork to adorn your home. Our aim is to ignite a passion for calligraphy that will continue to inspire you for years to come.
