Great Hampshire People
Hampshire is associated with many famous faces, from literary greats such as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens to present day sporting heroes and TV chefs.
We would like to introduce you to some Great Hampshire People, they will talk about their passions and also share with you their favourite things to do in Hampshire. So far we have introduced James Durrant, Jimmy Adams, Marylyn Abbott, Freddie Carr and Matt Cornwell.

James is the Chef Director at The Pig hotel situated in the heart of the New Forest. James shares his ethos for food at the hotel, including his 25 mile menu and what he likes to get up with his family in his spare time.
Matt Cornwell is part of Ben Ainslie's America's Cup World Series Team Land Rover BAR. Matt talks about all the activities he got up to as a child and his love of the coastal town of Lymington
Land Rover BAR are the team to ‘bring the Cup home’. Here sailor, David 'Freddie Carr', tells us about how excited he is about the first event of the America's Cup World Series coming to Portsmouth and why Ben Ainslie's team chose Portsmouth for their new home.
