Wellington Country Park

The biggest of all Hampshire's country parks, Queen Elizabeth is a mecca for walkers and cyclists with an excellent visitor centre and great views from the top of Butser Hill.
Staunton Country Park
1,000 acres of landscaped parkland with ornamental lake, woodland and follies near Havant. Paid entry to the ornamental farm, gardens and glasshouses.
Alice Holt Country Park
Situated near Farnham on the Hampshire/Surrey border, there are plenty of walking and cycling trails. It's also home to Go Ape!, where you can swing through the forest on a high wire course.
The Solent
Royal Victoria Country Park
Overlooking Southampton Water on the site of a former military hospital, Royal Victoria in Netley is popular with families and has a large calendar of events, miniature railway and tea shop.
Manor Farm Country Park
On the banks of the River Hamble near Botley, Manor Farm offers 400 acres of woodland and open space. Step back in time and visit the Victorian working farm, complete with school room and blacksmith's forge.
Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve
Explore 369 acres of Lower Meon Valley at Hillhead near Fareham, a haven for birds and other wetland wildlife.
Itchen Valley Country Park
There are 440 acres of woodland and meadows to explore in this small country park on the outskirts of Southampton. Play areas, visitor centre and café.
