FishingBeats is a free directory of fly fishing beats in England. At the time of writing it lists 81 beats on nine Hampshire rivers, including the Test, the Itchen, the Anton, the Dever and the Meon, and 134 beats across 20 rivers nationally, with more coming.

Every beat has its own page. It shows the beat boundary drawn on a map, the length of water, which banks can be fished, the species present, the methods permitted, any fly-only restriction, season dates, rod limits, wading rules and whether a ghillie is available Pricing is shown from every provider offering that stretch rather than just one, so a visitor can compare before booking.

There is a page for each river, a page for each county, and a searchable list of every beat on the site. A day-ticket price comparison shows what fishing on a given river typically costs and how an individual beat compares.

FishingBeats is free to use and free for fisheries and providers to list on.
