Visit Hampshire Summer Photography Competition 2024

Our Summer Photography Competition is back! Calling all photographers - we are looking for the best photographs capturing the summer months across Hampshire.

Have you been out this summer with your camera, drone or phone to capture beautiful Hampshire scenes? This could be sunny shots, your family out enjoying a summer's walk, a day out at Hampshire's coastline or summer scenes in a Hampshire town or village. 

The winner will receive £100 of John Lewis vouchers, we will also be offering smaller prizes of £50 of John Lewis vouchers for each of the following categories:

Food & drink - whether on a picnic, fine dining or tasting ice creams!

Coast - capturing Hampshire's miles of coastline.

City - Share your pics of Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester. 

Plus, the winner and runners-up will also have their photo displayed on the Visit Hampshire website and may feature in Visit Hampshire marketing and promotions to help us show off our beautiful county.

How to Enter

This competition in now closed. 

What you need to know:

- We are open to your personal interpretation of a Summer in Hampshire and the photo can be taken anywhere in Hampshire (UK). 

- We are looking for stunning photos that capture our beautiful county.

- Colour photos only and no watermark included on the picture please. 

- The competition is open to adults and children, however entrants under the age of 16 need the consent of a parent or guardian to enter.

- The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries. If there are children who are under the age 16 within the photo you must have permission from their parents/guardians to enter the photograph.

- Please note that the competition is only open to UK residents (Excluding residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Employees of Hampshire County Council, as well as their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition and win the prize but are able to submit their photography.

- Where an individual or a residential property, belonging to someone other than the photographer are featured, the photographer must seek permission and be prepared to provide written consent, if requested. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
