About
The award winning vineyard is situated in the South Downs National Park and is only one hour away from London. Hambledon Vineyard is also part of the Vineyards of Hampshire group, a collection of leading vineyards in the county.
The Vineyard was established in 1952 and is the oldest commercial vineyard in England. The Vineyard grows three different grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the most common to produce Champagne.
In 2015 Hambledon Vineyard won Noble Rot wine awards for it’s sparkling wine which beat more well known champagne houses such as Pol Roger, Tattinger and Veuve Clicquot.
Tantalise your taste buds with a tours of the vineyard. Tours are available by appointment. Visitors will get to understand how wine is produced from the vine to the end product. Tours cost £10 per person and the ticket price is redeemable against any wine purchases.
Don’t miss the special events throughout the year at valentines, summer and Christmas. There are also a number of workshops held with guest wine experts such as Joe Wadsack.
