Located in the South Downs National Park Old Winchester Hill consists of 150 acres of National Nature Reserve and is home to many species of plants and wildlife. From the top of the hill enjoy views across the rolling hills as far as Portsmouth, Southampton and on a clear day, the Isle of Wight.
This beauty spot is popular with walkers all year round and offers a several different routes from the car park as well as having the South Downs Way pass through it. A circular footpath explores Old Winchester Hill's steep slopes and woodland, or the hill fort route will take you directly to the top of the hill. Signs and maps can be followed from the main car park.
Car Park: The main car park is at the northern end of Old Winchester Hill and gives access to the picnic area and interpretive displays.
