Discover this formal horticultural design of garden. As part of the historical Down Grange Estate the Walled Garden originally served as a kitchen garden to Down Grange House, which now operates as a restaurant.

The Garden boasts the original yew hedges and listed walls, demonstration allotments, beehives and observation hive classroom. A visitor centre and exhibition are housed in the bothy. Enjoy public art, including the main gates and the original gothic back gates. There is a wildlife area and a picnic area.

Open by appointment on bank holidays.
