Unexpected events require an ordinary family to find extraordinary ways to laugh and play together, turning their day into a patchwork cabaret of songs, stories and nonsense…
Giggle! Wiggle! Plop! is an original family show incorporating music, stories poems and plenty of audience participation. Join Teddy, Immy and their grown-ups as they go on an adventure up Upper Hill, discover the bonkers world of Sally Alan Pixie Biscuit, figure out what the strange noise in the attic is and meet Bob the bumblebee with his bucket full of 'B's'. Come and join the fun!
It's just a normal day – Mum and Dad are busy, and the kids are glued to their screens.
Suddenly, a power cut plunges them into darkness. Bereft of their usual distractions, how will Immy and Teddy entertain themselves? And how will Mum and Dad cope with two crotchety children?
Forced to improvise, the family find new, noisy and ridiculous ways to pass the time: songs, poems and crazy games – together they find their own very, very silly kind of fun. And when the power eventually comes back on, perhaps those screens don't seem quite so important after all.
Giggle! Wiggle! Plop! is first and foremost a fun family show full of laughter and nonsense for young audiences. It also endeavours to encourage learning through creativity, imagination and sharing. In this digital world we want to show children that there is still plenty of fun and silliness to be had if, just occasionally, they put down their devices.
