Be inspired by the beautful Gardens and examine how we use language to express the world around us. Sir Harold Hillier Gardens will look at the links between science and English in the early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Mathematics in The Gardens - Saturday 16 November 2019, 10am - 12.30pm
This is a hands-on session in the Gardens explore mathematical ideas that can be used by early years and primary teachers. We will look at the links between mathematics and science.
Run in conjunction with the Maths and Science Learning Centre at the University of Southampton this is a new course designed for NQT teachers, PGCE students, and those interested in ecological or environmental outreach.
