Swash-buckling fun awaits on this interactive family puzzle trail for ages 6+. Collect your trail sheet from visitor reception, work together to find and solve 6 pirate-themed puzzles hidden in The Vyne's gardens. Free trail, normal admission applies. No booking needed.

From the award winning Paradox Parlours, a fantastic introduction for children, to the fun and thinking of Escape Rooms. Help solve the puzzles, which unlock the boxes, that give clues, to help complete the trail and find the treasure! Are you up to the task of sailing the high seas and solving six puzzles to find the pirate treasure at the end?

Using the map to lead you to each location, you'll need the pirate map and information discovered at each site to crack the codes to get into the boxes. Once you have managed to open all the boxes you'll have all the information you need to complete the trail and find the treasure. It's a delightful fusion of fun and learning, where the joy of discovery reigns supreme. A puzzle solving experience that nurtures problem-solving skills in an exciting way!

You'll need to dress for the weather and picnics are welcome. All trail points and activities are wheelchair and buggy-accessible.

About The Vyne:

Just six miles from junction six of the M3, this atmospheric mansion has some illustrious connections, from Henry VIII to Jane Austen. Outside, acres of wildlife-rich gardens, meadows and woods create a wonderful space for relaxation and exploration. A short stroll reveals a cosy bird hide overlooking the water meadows and, with wellies at the ready, there are three circular way-marked routes through Morgaston Woods.

Parking is free, National Trust members go free (non-members will need to pay normal admission) and there is a gift shop, tea-room (handy for hot drinks and top-up snacks) and accessible visitor toilets with baby changing facilities on site. The gardens have hard gravel paths.
