Tickets: £5 per person per screening. Advance booking recommended. Fully licensed bar available - we operate a Challenge 25 policy, so anyone who looks under 25 would need to show ID to buy alcohol.
The Science Centre closes to general entry visitors at 5pm. Doors to the planetarium for the film screening will open 15 minutes before the advertised start time.
Please note these are standard-format 2D films projected onto the planetarium screen, rather than 360 degree fulldome films. The exhibition will be closed during these screenings.
Age Restrictions: Please note the age rating as indicted alongside the film titles below.
Rated PG - The minimum age to attend without an accompanying adult is 12 yrs old.
Rated 12A - The minimum age to attend without an accompanying adult is 12 yrs old. Films rated 12A are suitable for children aged 12 and over, those younger than 12 will be permitted so long as they are accompanied by an adult. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.
Rated 12 – Minimum age to attend is 12 yrs old. Those aged 12 and over are welcome to attend this screening without an accompanying adult.
Rated 15 – Minimum age to attend is 15 yrs old. Those aged 15 and over are welcome to attend this screening without an accompanying adult.
