Deep velvet sofas gather around a wood-burning stove for crisp winter breaks, while the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home and space to eat together. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom overlooks the Forest, with a second single bedroom and family bathroom. Outside, there’s a fully enclosed courtyard garden where your pooch can be safe, along with a wooden picnic table for outdoor dining in the warmer months.

The village centre is just up the road, where you’ll find a bounty of boutiques, food and gift shops as well as a great selection of places to eat. And don’t miss The New Forest Heritage Centre off the high street, where you can find out all about the history, wildlife and traditions of the Forest.
