Homelea is a bright, airy character-filled cottage sleeping 5 guests in the tiny coastal hamlet of Keyhaven on Hampshire’s south coast, a few miles south of the New Forest National Park. This stylish little cottage was built at the turn of the last century cottage and has been fully refurbished, resulting in a wonderful mix of coastal cool & countryside charm. There’s plenty of space inside, with a wall of bifold doors leading out to a vast sunny garden surrounded by trees and views onto fields beyond.
A holiday here is all about old-fashioned days messing about on the beach. The dinky harbour and acres of adjoining nature reserve marshes are perfect for pootling in a dingy. Hire paddleboards, sea kayaks and canoe tours from one of the local providers and sweep past oystercatchers, warblers and herons fishing for dinner - and keep an eye open for seals playing in the deeper waters too! There’s a popular pub in the hamlet for easy suppers and shops, and more pubs, eateries and restaurants in the village of Milford on Sea, a 20-minute walk.
