Clayton’s Kitchen Restaurant is spacious, bright and contemporary, providing a wonderful venue in which to showcase Rob Clayton’s beautifully crafted uncomplicated dishes. Using the freshest and very best ingredients, inspiration comes from Mediterranean and modern French cuisine, as well as taking advantage of lovely local and seasonal produce.
Rob was born in Cleethorpes in 1970. After training at Grimsby College of Technology, he became commis chef at Ménage a Trois in 1988. He soon moved to perfect his art by working with Nico Ladenis at Chez Nico, which held the three Michelin stars.
Clayton’s Kitchen is open from breakfast to dinner, handcrafting seasonal dishes using fresh local ingredients as often as possible. The restaurant like to look after you, so sit down, get comfy and let them legs do the work. They have many menus, including a lunch offering 2 courses for £15, 3 for £20, plus a selection of sandwiches. Plus, the restaurant regularly updates the Specials Board.
On a Sunday chose from the delicious Sunday menu. There’s something for the children and also a selection of wines or drinks to choose from.
