AboutClinging to its roots, the open plan bar and dining area display original low beams and wooden floors decked out with leather upright chairs and solid wooden tables. Out back is a dreamy riverside garden where one could quite easily pass a few hours beside the crystal clear waters of the River Test chalk stream.
The eight en-suite bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture and paintings, which happily sit alongside modern comforts such as fluffy mohair throws, flat-screen TV, WiFi internet and chic bathrooms that don’t detract from the old-world charm.
