Take your little ones on a magical day out to see Father Christmas in Hampshire. This year Father Christmas will be taking time out of his busy schedule and popping up across Hampshire in a number of towns, cities and attractions to spread the festive cheer.

Paultons Park and Peppa Pig Wold, Near Romsey

24th November – 24th December 2018 (various dates)

Enter into a Christmas wonderland and be greeted by adorable animated characters as you make your way through the enchanted winter snow scene. See Rudolph and Donner and the Christmas Elves in Santa Claus’ Toy Factory. At the end of the journey children can meet Father Christmas and receive an exciting present. Peppa Pig World will also be transforming this Christmas season as Peppa Pig and George wrap up in their winter scarves, hats and coats. Among the land of seasonal music and giant Christmas trees, Santa in his sleigh from the TV series can also be seen.

Winchester Science Centre, near Winchester

1st December –  24th December 2018 (various dates and times)

Santa and the elves are back at Winchester Science Centre and this time they’re joined by Jack and the beanstalk! A Christmas experience like no other with live science show inspired by the classic children’s tale, an elf-led activity and chance to meet Santa. A special Christmas Planetarium show will also be available.

Marwell Zoo, near Winchester

17th - 24th December 2018

Visit Marwell Zoo this Christmas and make your family’s Christmas magical by joining the elves in the enchanted world in Marwell Hall. Begin your enchanted experience by enjoying some festive refreshments, the be charmed by Mother Christmas in Pirate Cove and listen to stories from Neverland - inspired by Peter Pan. Head into the elves workshop and create your own Christmas present bag before meeting Father Christmas and receive a special gift before posing for a professionally taken family photo. Tudor House Museum and Gardens, Southampton

8th and 9th December 2018

Meet Father Christmas in the beautiful historic setting of the Southampton Tudor House and Gardens. Each child will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and receive a souvenir photo and a special gift to take home. Snat visits must be booked in advance.

Watercress Line, Alresford

1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 19th - 24th December 2018 (various times)

See Santa on a magical steam train ride along the scenic Watercress Line. As you travel in a festive traditional train carriage Santa and his jolly helpers will visit you in your seat with a special gift! Festive refreshments for adults and children will also be provided.

New Forest Activities, New Forest National Park

8th, 15th and 22nd December 2018

This is a Santa visit with a difference. Take the water in a canoe with New Forest Activties for a festive paddle up the River Beaulieu. Explore the stunning river and keep an eye out for Father Christmas along the way. All Children will recieve a gift from Father Christmas on the water. Places must be booked in advance.

Finkley Down Farm, Andover

24th November – 24th December 2018

Join the Christmas elves as they take you on an adventure through Finkley Down Farm. On the way children will be given a ‘Santa passport’ and be invited to take part in activities to get them stamped. At the end of the adventure children can visit Father Christmas and receive a present. Don’t forget to help make magical reindeer food and enjoy Mother Christmas' gingerbread.

The Hawk Conservancy Trust, near Andover

23th and 24th December 2018

Santa will be making a special visit to The Hawk Conservancy Trust’s Feather Restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Children will have the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto as well as meet miniature donkeys and an owl.

Exbury Gardens, New Forest

8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December 2018

A unique opportunity to visit Exbury Gardens free of charge during the festive seasons. There will be a special ‘Postal Express’ train service running throughout the day. Along the route visitors will see some beautiful sights and favourite Christmas characters as they head through the woodland and Exbury’s own woodland animals will all be dressed up in their woolly winter hats and scarves. Christmas music will be playing and passengers can sing along to seasonal favourites! If you’re lucky you may even see Father Christmas! Tickets for the train ride can be purchased on the day.
