Creative Countryside Day on Saturday 22 August is a family-friendly day of art, nature and outdoor exploration at Tilefield Nature, near Brockenhurst, run in partnership with CPRE Hampshire.

The day brings together timed artist-led workshops, relaxed drop-in activities and plenty of ways to enjoy the countryside creatively. It is designed for adults, families and children who would like to spend time outdoors, try something creative and connect with nature in a practical, hands-on way.

Timed workshops include wild weaving, leaf landscapes, clay tile making and foraging. These sessions are led by local artists and guides and are suitable for adults and accompanied children aged over 7. You can book onto one workshop as your main activity for the day.

Drop-in activities will also run throughout the day, including nature journalling, arts and crafts, puppetry and mini-beast activities. These are included with both workshop tickets and general admission.

Timed workshop ticket: £7.50
Includes your booked workshop, general admission to the event and access to all drop-in activities.

General admission ticket: £5
For visitors who do not want to book a timed workshop. Includes access to all drop-in activities.

Under 14s: free
Children under 14 can attend free of charge, although a free advance ticket still needs to be booked.

The day is being run by Tilefield Nature in partnership with CPRE Hampshire, bringing together a shared interest in creativity, countryside and helping more people enjoy the natural world. It is also part of Tilefield Nature's Creating Space for Nature and Community project, made possible with support from The National Lottery Community Fund. Together, this support helps keep ticket prices low and makes the day more accessible for families.

Food and refreshments will be available, and visitors are also welcome to bring a picnic and drinks.
