Event Itinerary & Information
From 2:30pm – Guest Arrival
Guests are welcome to arrive early, collect drinks, and explore the venue before doors officially open.
3:00pm – Doors Open & Bar Opens
Doors open at 3:00pm. The bar will be open from this time, serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening (service will pause during talks).
By 4:00pm – Seating
Guests will be guided to their seats in the tiered venue. All attendees must be seated by 4:15pm to allow the event to begin on time. Late arrivals may be asked to wait for a suitable break before entry.
4:10pm – Opening Talk with Special Guests: Olly & Bill from Squire
Popular historians and comedians Olly and Bill from the YouTube channel Squire open the event with a lively introductory talk. A meet and greet will be available following their session.
4:40pm – Interval (35 minutes)
A comfort break to visit the bar, use facilities, and explore any available merchandise.
5:15pm – Guests Reseated
Please return to your seats promptly to ensure the main talk can begin on time.
5:20pm – Main Talk: Burma 1945
Headliners Robert Lyman and Jack Bowsher deliver an in-depth discussion on the Burma Campaign in 1945.
6:00pm – Short Break
A brief pause before the audience Q&A.
6:15pm – Audience Q&A
An interactive question-and-answer session with the speakers.
6:40pm – Meet & Greet with Headliners & Special Guests
An opportunity to meet the speakers, ask further questions, and have books signed (subject to availability).
7:40pm – Event Concludes
Thank you for attending. Guests are welcome to depart at their leisure.

Bar service will pause during the talk and resume during the interval and afterwards.
Venue: The Great Barn was built in 1541 for the Battle of Agincourt, used for stores and to hold troops before the battle. Steeped in history it provides the perfect venue to gather and discuss topics of the Second World War in great depth. The venue was also used during WWII during Operation Overlord.
