The cottage’s crisp interiors, quality furnishings, and characterful details create a sense of comfort that’s both stylish and inviting for six guests. Upstairs are two bedrooms – a king and a twin, each with its own en-suite bath or shower room, while a ground-floor double also features an en-suite wet room. There’s an open-plan kitchen/dining area, followed by a roomy lounge that flows via double doors into a substantial conservatory with a sofa suite providing a handy second living space for screens and phones or as a quiet sanctuary with a good book and a morning coffee.
The outside space at Angel Cottage is uncomplicatedly simple, with thoughtfully planted greens and blooms framing the private paved garden. The patio table, chairs, and sun parasol make the garden an obvious choice for heading out with a tipple and an easy supper you’ve whipped up in the kitchen if you don’t fancy eating out.
