About
A unique art trail, with almost all venues within one mile of the village centre, run by Emsworth people for the local community of over 150 artists and artisans.
We welcome you to our homes, studios, workshops and community spaces to enjoy the wide range of talent on our doorstep. Jewellery, painting, photography, ceramics, furniture making, print making and weaving are just some of the creative skills for you to admire, puzzle over or perhaps take home with you!
This year’s highlights:
Emsworth Community Centre hosting the Maurice Broomfield Schools Photography Competition alongside displays from 15 individual artists and groups that regularly use the centre. Another popular attraction next door is the Hole In The Wall pottery group’s Raku firing that takes place on the second weekend.
Just on the outskirts of Emsworth, Tuppenny Barn’s arts and crafts gallery presents six artists in its beautiful eco-build setting; while another group of six artists can be visited at The Brookfield Hotel, to the west of the town.
Look out for Artists on the Quay, a collective of Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club members that put on a show during the first weekend of the Trail raising money for their Wheelie Boat Charity.
Hewitt’s welcomes Art Invisible a group that guides, supports and promotes the talents of its artists, all who have learning disabilities.
And, of course don’t miss all the local artists who open up their studios and gardens to welcome visitors to their homes, definitely worth a visit for a chance to see their work and spend some time in their company.
