Visit Hurst Castle throughout July and August and join in the family friendly activities, with a touch of history! From Saturday 19th July – Saturday 31st August, over the summer school holidays, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained.
The Hurst Castle International Maritime Signal Flags Trail will be up and running daily, just collect a trail sheet and pencil at the ticket office and off you go! The trail will have you exploring every inch of the castle whilst also learning about how ships communicated throughout the centuries. Complete the trail and win a reward for your hard work!
Plus included with your castle admission there are these exciting events lined up:
• Every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays join in with TUDOR TUESDAYS between 11am-4pm and enjoy Tudor themed activities, learning about the Tudor period whilst in a Tudor castle!
• Every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays join in with WILDLIFE WEDNESDAYS between 11am-4pm and learn about the wildlife that calls Hurst Spit its home! With wildlife experts joining us weekly – there'll be lots to do!
• Every Thursday throughout the summer holidays join in with THROWBACK THURSDAYS between 11am-4pm. Featuring a period in history families can have some fun with activities and dressing up
All the summer activities are included in your castle admission.
Hurst Castle is open 7 days a week from 10am-5.30pm. Why not start your family adventure and take a leisurely ferry to the castle? Ferries depart daily from Keyhaven at 10am and then approximately every 20-30 minutes. So, what are you waiting for? Visit Hurst Castle for a great day out this summer!
