Canhams Cottage is a bright, beautifully finished holiday home set in the heart of swish, sought-after Lymington, the south coast’s much-loved sailing town. It’s only a short toddle to the historic seawater baths and the coastal path that winds its way towards the beach at neighbouring Milford on Sea. Lymington’s Georgian high street is an easy stroll away too, lined with independent shops, a weekly market, inviting restaurants, and gastro pubs.
And when you fancy swapping the shoreline for the woods and heathland of the New Forest, the National Park’s famous free-roaming ponies, donkeys and abundant wildlife are just a ten-minute drive away. All in all, this cottage is a fabulous base for six guests and up to two lucky pups.
Inside, the feel is modern, considered, and warmly inviting, with large, bright windows. The owners have chosen soft, plump sofas, a neutral colour scheme, and thoughtful décor to provide a relaxing, comfy home to unwind after a day out and about. And outside, a lawned garden and patio, framed by tall fencing, trees and shrubs, provide total privacy and a calm corner for morning coffee, dining and drinks.
