This beautifully designed and furnished holiday cottage is in the pretty village of East Boldre in the New Forest, where ponies plodding past your window is a regular sight. The two-bedroomed cottage sleeps four guests in twin and king-size double bedrooms and welcomes dogs too. The cottage’s expansive lounge/diner, with seating for up to six guests, unveils views into a bloom-filled garden dotted with cherry trees and a dining set for dinner under the stars. There’s parking for 2 cars and secure bike storage.
Woods and heathland surround the dinky village, and is home to the National Park’s famous free-roaming ponies, donkeys and vibrant wildlife. The cottage is literally footsteps to open forest for walks and bike rides, and there’s a great foodie pub up the lane with many more gastro eateries nearby. The popular attraction Beaulieu National Motor Museum, and the Georgian Marina town of Lymington, plus the wild beaches overlooking the Isle of Wight, are all within a 15-minute drive.
