You’ll find Longmead amidst farmland and pretty woods, close to the chocolate-box village of Beaulieu, on the southern edge of the New Forest, and close to the National Park’s wild, natural beaches. Sleeping up to four guests in two beautifully styled bedrooms, this lovely home, which was once a farm worker’s cottage, ticks all the boxes for a wonderfully rural holiday surrounded by wildlife and walking trails.

Furnished for style as well as comfort, you’ll find the big log burner a welcome sight after a winter walk. Picture windows frame far-reaching views of the surrounding fields, and the adjoining dining/kitchen area opens onto the patio, which is topped with planted pots, outdoor dining furniture and additional seating. The generously sized flat garden showcases a lush green lawn, bordered by lofty trees and shrubs, creating privacy. It’s perfect for children to run, let off some steam, and play games while the adults relax, spy on ponies as they walk past the gate, and plan the next day's activities.
