About
This showhome-worthy holiday cottage in the New Forest is full of fun design, quality furnishings, and the treats of a wood-fired sauna and a summer house in the garden.
Located in the rural hamlet of Pilley and surrounded by fields, woods and the rolling heather plains filled with the National Park’s famous free-roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and famous wildlife.
Inside, the cottage summons sociable open-plan living for four guests and a pooch. Every element of this home is well thought out with understated style and beautifully executed. There’s a toasty wood-burning stove for those cosy autumn and winter evenings, and upstairs are three bedrooms (the master enjoying an en-suite wet room) plus a family bathroom.
Outside, a pretty enclosed garden has been landscaped and adorned with seating and gas barbecue. Take your pick from plenty of sunlit spots or shady corners, where you can relax with a glass of wine and a good book. And, to drift into deeper holiday mode, make use of the inviting wood-fired sauna, which offers a quirky bonus for use year-round, whatever the season or weather.
