Our Bench: Accessible Holiday Cottages

About

Our Bench offers three purpose-built wheelchair-accessible self-catering holiday cottages in Pennington, Lymington, on the edge of the New Forest National Park and close to the Hampshire coast. The cottages sleep 2, 4 or 5 guests and are designed for disabled guests, families and carers who need more than basic wheelchair access.

Each cottage has step-free access, a spacious wet room, an accessible kitchen area, a riser-recliner chair and a master bedroom with a height-adjustable profiling bed, an additional electric head-and-foot riser bed and a ceiling-track hoist. A range of mobility and care equipment can also be reserved for guests at no additional charge.

Bench Cottage sleeps 4 and provides additional facilities for guests with more complex access needs, including an H-track ceiling hoist in the wet room and an adult changing stretcher.

Little Bench sleeps 2, providing specialist accessible accommodation for a disabled guest travelling with a partner, carer or companion without needing to book a larger property.

Garden Bench sleeps 5, with a private enclosed garden and patio. It is the Our Bench cottage that welcomes pet dogs. Assistance dogs are welcome in all three cottages.
